Sky Allen
Executive Director
Sky got her start in the field as a policy fellow with the Warehouse Worker Resource Center before working as the Education Fund's Census Coordinator and then Program Director from 2019-2022. She has managed the coalition's Census outreach, Redistricting advocacy, Justice Leadership Academy pipeline, and voter outreach programs. She graduated from UCR in 2018 with a B.S. in Business Management and a Minor in Ethnic Studies. She earned her Masters of Public Policy at UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs in 2023.

Giovanni Ruiz
Senior Data Director
Gio became an activist during the Occupy Wall Street Movement in 2011 and has been involved with local activist groups since. In his role as Senior Data Director, he manages campaign operations and offers technical assistance support for various voter contact management tools, include a custom solution for the region. He graduated with a B.S. in Physics from Cal Poly Pomona in 2014 and M.S in Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2017.

Ayla Lopez
Organizing Manager
Ayla first became involved when they were a student in high school, phone banking for the prop 47 campaign. This led them to organize against the school to prison pipeline, access to more mental health resources, and access to voter education. Ayla has since led several voter outreach campaigns, where the focus has been to engage tens of thousands of young voters ages 18-34, infrequent voters, and voters of color.

Brian Diaz
Program Manager
Brian Diaz is a lifelong organizer who found the IE United Education Fund coalition during the 2024 election cycle. As a teenager, Brian began organizing at voter registration drives to inspire and empower community members who often felt left out. Brian has supported election outreach in Arizona and served as a field lead for the team in 2024.

Kevin Boddy
Communications Manager
Before joining the organization, Kevin spent three years as a Digital Project Manager, leading branding, design, and marketing initiatives for plastic and cosmetic surgeons across the United States. He holds a B.A. in Film & Visual Culture from UC Riverside and has written and produced short films. Kevin is a lifelong resident of the Inland Empire and enjoys baking, spending time with family, and taking in the occasional hockey game in his free time.

Mayra Jackson
Finance Director
Mayra was born in Ecuador, raised in the U.S., and obtained her Bachelor’s in teaching at the Universidad Politecnica National Del Ecuador. She's worked with non profits since 2017, serving as an organizer, field director, campaign manager, and as the Regional Director at CYD Environmental Caucus.

Lisa Frink
Operations Manager
Lisa Frink is the Operations Manager at IE United. Raised in a military family, Lisa had the opportunity to travel across the country and even the world. Her childhood included time in Japan, Hawaii, New York, and beyond!
Lisa began her career in operations management in 2000 with Morongo, where she oversaw large transactions, guest services, and operations for the entire property. In 2024, Lisa joined the campaign to lead the team, making such a significant impact on our work that we created a space for her to continue driving meaningful change with us.
